2009 Autosolo Championship

The 2009 Autosolo Championship gets under way on the 26th April, remember to get your regs and entry form of Andy Barnard or download them of our clubs web site.

First, great to see the forum back. April 26th, first 'solo of the year. Last September we had 19 entries, hope we can top that, am sure we will. So get your entries in.

If anyone is in doubt as to what class they will enter maybe good to look at the Championship regs(on the website) as well as the regs for each solo.

Same scoff wagon as before has been booked. Yum yum!!

let's hope the competitors use the wagon, the regs for the first solo have been sent out today(wednesday) so you all will be recieving them soon, just fill them in and send them back, and lets have a bloody good day, Andy put's a lot into organising this, let's see if we can get a full entry.

First few entries have arrived so let's see some more. Yeh, wouldn't it be great to get a full house!

30 is the maximum entry, with 5 weeks to go we have 7 already. So I'd say if anyone is thinking of entering they should get their entry in soon. We may even end up with a reserve list?!

Remember folks we need a minimum of 12 entries for the first 'Solo to run, we currently have 9. So the sooner everyone who is considering doing it gets their entry in the sooner we know we are definitely on and the championship is under way.

if the ford KA i have has the trim and back seats in but not fitted will u accept this car in the 1400 class as it say (They must have full trim and seats) but does not say they have to be fitted

My interpretation of the regs is that the seats and trim should be fitted and in the place where they were originally installed. Not brought along in a carrier bag to scrutineering.

if u get plenty of entries for Class D will u split it up in to cc so that the 2000cc are not with the 1300cc

Unlikely as we haven't got that provision in either the championship or event regulations.
Entries by the way have now moved in to double figures - 10 - keep 'em coming!

2 more entries today so that's our minimum reached, we're on!! Let's not get complacent though, we need more.

Entries seemed to have slowed up or are they just stuck in the post? Come on folks the more the merrier. Let's make this the 'solo even better than last September.
