Greystoke Stages 2009

Don't forget this date - 12 July 2009.

The preparations for the event are progressing well and the Regs will be available from the web site very soon.

If you are not competing on the event YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU to help out with the many tasks that are required to make the day a success for the Club. So, why not contact Irving Wilson and volunteer.

Mitch as sent our entry in and it as been acepted, cant wait till July.

Many thanks to all of those who participated in any way either helping with set-up, marshalling on the day or supporting by way of an entry. The event does take twelve months to organise and is run by just a small band of dedicated club members.

As Ryan has put on the Club web page it was a pity about the weather but nothing we can do about that.

The service area was less than ideal and not what we were led to believe a few months ago. Still it should be fine for next year, let's hope the team soon recover from 2009 and forget the pain and can be dragged screaming and kicking into doing something for next year.

Can anyone recommend a doctor who knows how to deal with the rally bug

As a competitor i would like to thank, no congratulate the small band of club members who run the greystoke rally, who put themselves out week in week out, it was an excellent day. Yes the service area was rubbish but we all managed, and there was a lot of waiting around, that is the downfall to ANY single venue rally on Tarmac, let alone a slippy, sliddy bloody forest. last year the commitee probebly wondered what it would have been like if it had rained, well this year they got to know, and nowt really changed from when it was dry, people went off(including the course car), people winged, it was too wet, last year they winged it was to dusty, as in life you will never please everyone, just keep up the good work, WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED.
