2009 Autosolo Championship

Well folks, the post has been today and no more entries(still 13). If you know anyone who would be interested in entering do try to encourage them to do so to enable us to have a good, competitive days motorsport.

We're creeping up, another entry yesterday so that's us up to 14 with 2 weeks to go before entries close. Keep 'em coming.

Well folks 2 weeks today and scrutineering will have just opened for the 1st round of the P & R Benn Autsolo Challenge and lets hope the weather is as good as it is now. Entries still seem to be stuck at 14 and I would dearly love us to get to the magical 20 by the time entries close on the 22nd(and they will close then!). So again my request is if you are thinking about entering, say yes and get your entry in soon and if you know someone who might fancy a go - start chasing them up!

Loos!!! Yes there will be loos on site for this event! Now if that was the only thing holding your entry back no more excuses, get it in!

A week to go before entries close and number 15 arrived today. So you never know we might crack the 20 mark. Keep trying!!

Another today, number 16, with 3 others promised. Now whilst the promises are nice it's real entries on real paper with real money we need. Look forward to getting them. Now 20 is looking possible.

Right, we are now up to 17 entries received with 3 more promised so it's looking like we will make the 20 target. Thanks to everyone who has entered and to anyone else who fancies it you've got till Wednesday to get your entry in. Now it's fingers crossed for weather like today or maybe it will make life more interesting if it's a bit wet?

Well we have nearly done it, we aimed for 20 and we are nearly there, we are currently sitting at 19 entrants, and with at least 4 crew's who wanted to do it away on rally duties, we have done extremly well, congratulations to Andy who has put an awful amount of time into this and to see so many entrants it must be all worth it, all we want now is for all of you who have entered to have a bloody good day and above all enjoy yourselves, see you on the start line,

Entry number 20 arrived today. Now we're flying! Who knows what will turn up in Tuesday and Wednesdays post? See you all Sunday.

Well I think I'll say entries are closed now for the first round of the challenge(Sunday 26th) unless someone is going to dig me out of my bed before midnight with their form and cheque! Thanks and well done everybody 'cause we've ended up with 26 entries in total. 2 folks have submitted their entry and payment but may not be able to make but nevertheless have met the closing deadline, thank you. So we will run on Sunday with either 24 or 26 competitors, what a great turn out that will be. Hope we'll give you all a good days motorsport. See you at signing-on.

Tuesday night and I think we can put Round 1 to bed, Ryan should have the scores on the doors by now and the July regs are done. So thanks to all of you who turned up - to compete, to marshal, to watch, to take videos etc. Think we'll start a new thread for Round 2!
